MK Stalin, BJP Ally Oppose Hindi Month Celebration In Chennai
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X against celebration of Hindi month in non-Hindi speaking states. "In a multilingual nation, celebrating Hindi Month in non-Hindi-speaking states is seen as an attempt to belittle other languages," he has written. BJP ally PMK's founder S Ramadoss also called this an "imposition" of Hindi and has demanded cancellation of the event.
