MK Stalin Pushes For More Children, Is South Wary Of Delimitation?
In a sarcastic jab at the Centre's delimitation plans, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has urged a newlywed couple to plan a family immediately so that the state gets an advantage when the delimitation exercise is held.
At the wedding function of a DMK district secretary at Nagapattinam, Mr Stalin said he would earlier ask newlyweds to take their time before they plan a family. ""Now I would not say don't hurry. There is a situation that only if we have a large population, we can have more MPs. This situation has emerged because we succeeded in effective population control. Get children immediately but give them beautiful Tamil names," he said.
