MK Stalin Slashes Rupee: Symbolism Gone Too Far?
MK Stalin's battle against the Centre and the BJP has taken new forms as the 2026 assembly elections in his state approach. After taking on Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for allegedly stalling fund disbursement to PM Shri Schools scheme, he chose to replace the rupee symbol adopted 14 years ago with Tamil Script in the Budget he will present tomorrow.
