In what can be described as an act of defiance against the district administration, Narendra Modi's war with the Election Commission culminated in the form of a road trip through the city of Varanasi. It took Mr Modi 3 and half hours to reach a distance of less than 5 kilometers. A drive that looked nothing less than a roadshow. Narendra Modi and his party the BJP claims their campaign plans in Varanasi were scuttled by the district returning officer.
