"I asked for Rs 44,000 crore flood relief, but PDP & BJP conspired to make sure it wasn't announced," says former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on the anniversary of one of the worst flood in the state. Speaking to NDTV, Mr Abdullah questioned the delay in announcement of flood relief package by the Centre and said "like One Rank One Pension", flood relief would have to be "forced out" of the Modi government. He called the detention of trade body leaders by Mufti Sayed government today as "worst form of dictatorship". Mr Abdullah welcomed the Machil fake encounter case verdict where Army has handed out life term to its own, but said there were many other cases in which justice has not been served yet.
