Cricket great Sunil Gavaskar said pace bowler Mohammed Shami was a big miss for the Indian team on Day 1 of the 4th Test vs England in Mumbai. "I think Shami's absence was keenly felt by India today," Gavaskar told NDTV, while defending Shami's replacement Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who failed to pick up a wicket during the day. "Bhuvneshwar bowled really well, but he lacked a bit of luck today," he said. The former Indian captain added that restricting England to anywhere around 350 runs would put India in a good position in the ongoing match.
