Moily panel moots new anti-terror laws
A report by the senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily has called for new anti-terrorism laws. This is despite Home Minister Shivraj Patil saying that the existing laws are fine. "A comprehensive and effective legal framework to deal with all aspects of terrorism needs to be enacted," the second Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) said in its eighth report on "Combating Terrorism".
