"Moment Of Great Pride": Uttarakhand Minister As State Implements Uniform Civil Code
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday expressed that today is a special day not only for the people of Uttarakhand but for the entire nation as the state officially implemented the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Prem Chand Aggarwal, Mr Dhami's Finance Minister, also termed the move a "moment of great pride".
