Mohan Bhagwat - the chief of the BJP's ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak - was among those who attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a Ram Temple in Ayodya on Wednesday. "It is a moment of joy," he said addressing a gathering of spiritual leaders. PM Modi laid down a silver brick to symbolise the construction of the temple. "So many people have sacrificed, they couldn't be invited because of the (COVID-19) situation... They are here in spirit," Mr Bhagwat said.
