An area in the compound of Gaza’s Al Aqsa Hospital was hit by strikes early Monday morning, sending people running inside for safety. The sound of loud explosions were caught by an Associated Press camera outside the hospital in Deir al-Balah. Smoke and fire were seen from a distance. That happened as Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip killed at least 32 people on Sunday, including over a dozen women and children, according to local health officials. Israel's military late Sunday ordered Palestinians to evacuate several neighborhoods in Deir al-Balah shortly after about 10 projectiles were fired from Gaza — the largest barrage from the territory since Israel resumed the war. The military said about five were intercepted. Hamas’ military arm claimed responsibility.
