The monsoon session of parliament, set to begin today, is likely to witness protests as opposition parties gear up to corner the Centre over the Agnipath military recruitment scheme, inflation, unemployment and alleged collapse of constitutional bodies. After an all-party meet on Sunday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said 32 bills are set to be tabled in the two houses, of which 14 are ready. The government, he said, wants discussions on all of them in a democratic manner. Some of them have already been discussed by standing committees of Parliament. He also dismissed the controversy over the new list of unparliamentary words and the circular against dharna and demonstration, saying its part of regular procedure.
