Morality Police' not fully disbanded, only suspended: Iran Journalist

Iran has scrapped its morality police after more than two months of protests triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini following her arrest for allegedly violating the country's strict female dress code, an official said Sunday. However, a journalist said the morality police has not been entirely disbanded. "It is not the case at all. There had been years of debate about this subject. My sources tell me that the so called 'Morality Police' has not been totally disbanded, only suspended...There are different rules in this country," said Marzieh Hashemi, Iran journalist, when asked whether the protests were too tough for the Iran government to handle.
