More forces sent to Maharashtra
With violence spreading to new areas in Maharashtra following the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's (MNS) campaign against north Indians, additional central paramilitary forces were rushed to the state to control the situation on Tuesday.''The Home Ministry is providing central forces to the state government as requested by it. Rapid Action Force (RAF) units are already positioned in Mumbai,'' a senior MHA official said.
