More rain forecast in Tamil Nadu
The Met department has forecast more rain today in Tamil Nadu. Nine people have lost their lives in the state due to heavy rain in the last few days following a depression in the Arabian Sea. While the southern districts and the delta region are under a sheet of water, 70 villages have been cut off and standing crops damaged.
