MP: New suicide zone in the making
A new report uses government data to paint a national picture of the phenomenon of farmers' suicides. The conventional logic on farmer's suicides is that they occur in wealthier states like Karnataka and Maharashtra where farming is expensive and farmers grow high-risk cash crops is debunked.
