With the UPA government failing to initiate impeachment proceedings against Justice Soumitra Sen of Calcutta High Court found indulging in corrupt practices, Rajya Sabha members cutting across party lines have set the ball rolling in the Upper House. Over 60 MPs will submit a memorandum to Rajya Sabha Chairman on Friday for a motion against Justice Sen. The move may well start the second-ever impeachment process against a judge.
