MTNL kicks off 3G 'Jadoo' in India

India's exploding mobile market reached another milestone on Thursday with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh launching the country's first third generation (3G) mobile services. The Prime Minister received the first call made over a 3G network run by state owned MTNL, the first telco in the country, to launch this service.
