Mukesh Ambani ventures into frozen foods segment
Mukesh Ambani controlled Reliance Retail is entering into a joint venture agreement with Iceland-based frozen foods major, Bakkovar, thus allowing it to use Bakkovar's frozen food technology. Bakkovar offers a well known product line especially in the world of ready-to-eat meals. NDTV has learnt that the JV will compete with Unilever, Nestle and ITC by offering Bakkovar's ready-to-eat Indian cuisine under Reliance brand.
