Mullai Periyar issue: TN, Kerala face off

While Tamil Nadu's battle with Karnataka for the Cauvery water is being fought in the courts, it's battle with Kerala for the Mullai Periyar water is reaching a flash point. The copious flow into the Mullai Periyar dam in Kerala is not being fully stored despite a Supreme Court order allowing the storage to be raised from 136 feet to 142 feet.
