Multiplex rents to fall on realty slump
Falling property prices have given multiplex owners like PVR Cinemax and Anil Ambani's Big Cinemas, a reason enough to smile amid recession. NDTV learnt that multiplex managers are busy renegotiating rates for property leases by at least 20 per cent, even after bringing down the rates just six months ago. Typically, such leases vary from 10 to 25 years.
