Mumbai Coastal Road Bridge Opens, Cutting Travel Time To 15 Minutes

Mumbai's Coastal Road northbound bridge, connecting Bandra to Marine Drive, opened to the public today at 7 a.m. The bridge promises to reduce travel time between South Mumbai and the northern suburbs to just 10–15 minutes. While the full Coastal Road project, initiated in 2018, is expected to be completed by 2026, incremental openings have significantly improved connectivity in the city.
