Mumbai Ramps Up Vaccination, Targets One Lakh Jabs A Day
With citizens above 45 years being allowed to take the Covid vaccine from Thursday, the state aims to cover 33.8 million citizens of Maharashtra. From today, the civic body is running ten vaccination centres in two shifts, including the vaccination centre at the jumbo Covid facility at Bandra Kurla Complex, to speed up the vaccination process in the city. The civic body in Mumbai, the BMC has targeted one lakh vaccinations a day.
