A decision on lockdown in Mumbai will be taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said as Mumbai crossed 20,000 fresh Covid cases - the threshold limit for more restrictions. Delhi reported over 15,000 cases of coronavirus in 24 hours - the highest since May 8. In a first of its kind, the Chennai Corporation has revived it's fleet of COVID special ambulances to expedite treatment through home triage and to eliminate needless rush to hospitals by positive patients.
