Mumbai Film Festival Gets off to a Glittering Start
The red carpet was worn bare as the Mumbai film fraternity turned up in full force to endorse the 16th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI). The festival, which had been struggling for funds, received the much required shot in the arm as the fraternity urged people to donate funds for the love of cinema and the turn out only proved that effort had been a success. MAMI will showcase 180 films from 65 countries this year and the film festival draws to a close on October 21.
