Mumbai: NCP demands station's name change
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has raised a demand to rename the Elphinstone Road railway station on Mumbai's Western Railway network as Prabhadevi. As much as two lakh commuters travel to and from the Elphinstone Road station everyday and all of them are aware of the narrow platforms, the narrow access routes, the filth all around and the hawker menace.
