Mumbai: No place for specially-abled
18 years since the disability act was passed, India is still far from being a disability friendly nation. According to the Bombay High Court, inaction by the state even after passing the law actually defeats the very purpose of legislation having a laudable object to enable the persons with disabilities to lead normal life. But is anyone listening?
