Mumbai port plan hits roadblock
The Mumbai Port Trust, one of the premier ports in the country, is poised for a major expansion.But its plans are being opposed ironically by its own state. The Maharashtra government is worried that Mumbai's roads won't be able to take the rising cargo traffic, a charge that has been denied by the port trust.
