Mumbai: Sikh protestors clash with police
Clashes broke out between Sikh protestors and the police at Airoli junction near Mulund on the Eastern Express highway. The police resorted to lathicharge and teargas to disperse the protestors off the highway. The situation in and around suburban Mulund area is tense since Friday night's violent protests by Sikhs against Dera Sachha Sauda's chief Ram Rahim Singh's entourage and subsequent death of a person in firing by Dera chief's bodyguards.
