Mumbai sombre on New Year's Eve
It's the last day of the year and what a year it has been, especially for India. The year 2008 saw many ups but even more downs with terror and its aftermath dominating the headlines. Its shadows are visible even as we get ready to welcome 2009. Mumbai, one of the cities that always rocked, is a bit sombre this time with partying no longer what it used to be.
