Mumbai still safe for women
Sarah Noel, a French national, moved to Mumbai from London only four months ago. It is her first time living in a non-Caucasian country and life has more or less been normal, barring issues of cultural adjustment. She said, what's she's noticed most about India is that she gets stared at. ''There's definitely a fascination with white skin in this country - you get really stared at but I've never felt threatened. I mean as a woman you have to take precautions everywhere you go,'' said Sarah.''
