Mumbai takes up global warming issue
Mumbai is in the grip of an enthusiastic campaign against global warming. The campaign will reach a crescendo on December 15 when the organisers expect 20 million people to switch off their lights and appliances for one hour to conserve energy. On Sunday, cloth canvases spread out across different locations in Mumbai carried messages of concern and hope for a better world.
