Municipal building turned school
Questions are being raised after a municipal training institute in suburban Powai has been leased out to a private school. Even as residents protest against the building being taken over by the Pawar Public School, civic authorities say the procedure is not illegal. The incident has raised the issue of a policy of Mumbai's classrooms being outsourced to political and private ventures.
