Munnabhai an MP? Not this time
The actor-turned-politician Sanjay Dutt received a setback on Tuesday after the Supreme Court said that his standing for election will set a bad precedent and open the floodgates for more people with criminal records to enter politics. So, it became certain that Munnabhai cannot become an MP. "The petitioner is a well known senior artiste. His father was also a well known film actor and was deeply involved in politics. At one point of time the petitioner's father was a minister in the Union Cabinet.
