It was an elaborate plan that almost worked but for mutton soup, says the Telangana police as it investigates a bizarre murder in which a woman allegedly killed her husband and tried to pass off her alleged lover as him. M. Swati, a 27-year-old nurse at a private hospital in Nagarkurnool town, had been married to Sudhakar Reddy, 32, for three years and they also had two children. The police say she had an affair with Rajesh, a physiotherapist, and they made a plan to kill her husband and also get his property.
