Three months ago in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district, Mounika's husband hanged himself, weighed down by debts to the tune of Rs 7 lakh. She is determined that her two-year-old son would not grow up to be a farmer like his father. He would go to school when he turns three and will complete his education, she says.
