Naidu's night out for farmers
It's a political gimmick that is unlikely to reduce farmer suicides. Chandrababu Naidu spent Monday night, not in his own house but in another House alltogether. The former chief minister and his Telugu Desam MLAs slept in the corridor of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly to demand that the Congress government should raise the minimum support price for paddy to one thousand rupees per quintal.
