Nalini Sriharan, Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Convict, Gets Parole For A Day | Read

Nalini Sriharan, convicted for life in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, has been granted one-day parole to participate in the final rites of her father today. "Jail authorities have allowed her to be on parole between 8 am and 8 pm," said her lawyer Puhalenthi. She left the Vellore Central Prison (women's jail) under police escort at 6.50 AM today.
