Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has marked 50 years in the Telugu film industry, a milestone he proudly claims as a unique world record due to his sustained status as a leading hero throughout these decades. At 64 years old, Balakrishna continues to captivate audiences, notably through his popular OTT show, Unstoppable. In an exclusive interview with NDTV's Uma Sudhir, Balakrishna discussed his enduring career, reflecting on starring opposite both yesteryear heroines and their granddaughters. He also spoke about surpassing even his legendary father, NTR, in the industry. Additionally, Balakrishna shared insights on the film industry with his brother-in-law, Chandrababu Naidu, and expressed confidence that his son-in-law, Nara Lokesh, could be the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. As he prepares for his son Mokshagna’s impending debut, Balakrishna remains dedicated to maintaining his status as a leading hero.
