Nano to be rolled out from Gujarat
Tata Motors' ambitious Nano car project, which was forced out of Singur, has found a new home in Gujarat. Tata chief Ratan Tata, who is scheduled to arrive in Gujarat on Tuesday, is expected to make a joint statement on the matter with Chief Minister Narendra Modi. A Tata Motors team has already done techno-economic surveys of the new site, which is reportedly located in Sanand, 34 km from Ahmedabad. Rajkot could emerge as the ancillary hub for the Nano project.
