The National School of Drama in India is nearly 60 years old. The National School of the Performing Arts in Karachi is Pakistan's NSD. Just 10 years old, its impact can now be seen as new batches of trained actors and playwrights fuel resurgence in not just Pakistani serials but also a new wave of cinema.
