Vishal Sikka has quit as Infosys CEO. His resignation, he says, is because of continuous allegations and noise against him. The Infosys board is siding with Dr Sikka, a statement from them said "unfounded personal attacks" contributed to his resignation. So who made these personal attacks or allegations? Well the resignation comes just months after Dr Sikka and his colleagues were criticised by Infy co-founder NR Narayana Murthy. A recent letter by Mr Murthy questioning Dr Sikka's 11 million salary is seen as the immediate trigger. Mr Murthy, though, clarified saying he was anguished by the allegations and that he is "not seeking money or position for his children or for power".
