As reports reveal that Trinamool leader Abhishek Banerjee's phone could have been snooped upon using the Pegasus spyware, party MP Derek O'Brien said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were desperate to defeat Mamata Banerjee. He saod that the alleged use of spyware by the government "is the worst kept secret". "Everybody knows the style of the former Chief minister and home minister of Gujarat. This is the national launch of the Gujarat model," he said.
