National Museum, National shame?
The National museum is meant to be a platform for India's extraordinary history.It has artifacts to rival any museum in the world. But one visit to the museum and you find it in a state of complete decay. Besides, damp walls, bad signage, no lighting, more than 60% of the posts in the administration are vacant. On the occasion of World Museum Day, the situation for this national pride appears grim.
