NDTV Auto Episode 8: Citroen Basalt Review, Yezdi Adventure Ridden

In this episode of the NDTV Auto Show, we have a great selection of cars and bikes on the show. Up first, we test drive the all-new Citroen Basalt in rainy Goa. It is a good-looking coupe SUV that is now on sale with excellent pricing. The Basalt goes up against the likes of the Tata Curvv, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Then, we head to Pune to take a test ride of the updated Yezdi Adventure that becomes lighter and much more fun, especially off the road. Next, we get behind the wheel of the newly launched Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe, yet another coupe SUV but from the other end of the performance spectrum. The new GLC 43 AMG Coupe now gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with increased power output. Despite the downsizing, the AMG coupe SUV continues to impress in terms of performance. Lastly, we have a chat with Shailesh Chandra, MD, Tata Motors Passengers Vehicles Limited, about the newly launched Tata Curvv EV and how the segment of mid-size SUVs is growing and throwing up great opportunities for expansion and experimentation.
