NDTV impact: Police act against Betul construction mafia
Within days of an NDTV expose showing how an illegal construction mafia was destroying some of the densest forests in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, there have been a series of seizures by the police. The quarry's owner Prakash Agarwal, an associate of two senior BJP leaders, has been served a notice.
