NDTV Viewer to Fund Indian Ice Hockey Team
An NDTV viewer in Dubai has decided to fund the Indian Ice Hockey team, pitching in with an amount of Rs 7 lakh. The cash-strapped Indian team, formed six years ago, had recently taken to social media for financial help ahead of a tournament scheduled in Kuwait. A crowd funding website was set up for the same and has caught the eye of Anand Mahindra, the head of Mahindra Group, who tweeted saying he was eager to help.
