"We have given up on mono cartons, which has reduced our carbon emissions by 7,310 tonnes, annually. We aim to reduce carbon emission by 30,000 tonnes by 2030," said Prasanna Mohile, National Head, Corporate Affairs, Pernod Ricard India at the NDTV World Summit 2024.
He also spoke about building a global brand but with Indian roots. Pernod Ricard has been in India for three decades. Sharing the journey of 30 years, Mr Mohille said, "We have almost 25 manufacturing facilities. We have been exporting to over 50 countries. We plan to further invest in India, looking at how its economy is growing. For Pernod Ricard, India is the second largest market after the US."
Mr Mohile talked about adopting a 'glocal' approach that blends global spirit with India's preferences.
