Negative Post About PM Hurts BJP Workers: Man Who Filed Complaint Against Jignesh Mevani
Dalit leader and Gujrat MLA Jignesh Mevani, who was arrested from Gujarat by the Assam Police and brought to Kokrajhar over tweets on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was sent to 3-day police remand by a local court. BJP leader Arup Kumar Dey had filed the complaint, after which the Assam Police filed a First Information Report, or FIR, and arrested Mr Mevani. Mr Dey said negative posts about PM Modi hurts BJP workers and they will react this way.
