New anti-terror agency comes into force
Following the Mumbai terror attacks, Parliament has passed a bill to set up an agency to deal with terrorism across the country. After getting the President Pratibha Patil's assent, the National Investigation Agency comes into force from Thursday, January 1, 2009.
