New beginning for AP 'child bride'
An eight-year-old girl in Andhra Pradesh who was rescued from becoming a jogini, a sex worker for life, is making a new beginning at a new school, away from her village. People in her village in Ranga Reddy district had got together to make her into what is locally called a jogini. Eight-year-old Anjali was pushed by her own parents to lead her life as a sex worker.
